The studio is open for families and groups to just drop in and paint pottery, providing you with fun and relaxation all at the same time. Ideal for any age, the finished results are just amazing and worth the wait. Your painted pieces are ready usually the same day the following week.

We can show you how to use the paints and the range of decorating tools to create a unique piece of art for you to treasure or to make as a gift. From wine coolers to money boxes and plates to dragons and fairies there is something for everyone in our collection of over 165 items on display to choose from.

Freshly brewed filter coffee, pots of tea and soft drinks are available whilst you paint. It is not necessary to book a table but this is advisable at peak times to avoid disappointment.  

What does it cost? we charge a studio fee for each person painting to cover the use of the brushes, decorating tools, the paints, time in the studio and the glazing and firing of the items of £3.75. Then there is just the price of the pottery items you paint to pay for, these range from £5 for cute animal ornaments up to £18 for tall vases. Plates range from £5-£16 and money boxes from £6 to 10 just to give you an idea

How long does it take to paint the pottery? Depending on ages of the painters it will take about hour to 2 hours. Usually we find age 7 years and upwards will take up to 2 hours..... a great way to spend a morning or afternoon!  Then come back the same day the next week to collect your item after we have glazed and Fired it for you!

if we have no painters in the last hour of opening
the studio may close early

Wednesday Night is Adults Evening 7-9.30pm
last entry is 8pm, great chance to paint without your children
so you have the fun to!

Last entry each day is one hour before closing

Directions to Fired 4 U Studio - From M6 Junction 29

FROM NORTH come up slip road to roundabout
Turn right follow Bamber bridge ( 3rd exit)

OR

FROM SOUTH come up slip road and straight over roundabout to next one and turn left for Bamber bridge ( 1st exit)

THEN FROM EITHER DIRECTION :

At lights turn right and come through Bamber Bridge

-         we are 2 doors along with white front

-         take second entrance at end of shops on left and park at front or side

From Preston on the ring road pass Homebase on your right

Straight through the lights at Homebase

Down the hill and over the bridge

Get into left hand lane

At lights on corner before you get to capital centre bear left

See Yew Tree pub on right

Straight on at mini roundabout ( BP garage on left)

next mini roundabout turn right ( at BP garage)

Pass Nissan garage on right and then Pinocchio restaurant

A long Brownedge road to the A6
Turn left towards the Capital centre / Preston
At the roundabout before the capital centre, signed Samlesbury / Hoghton Tower turn right
Now on Hennel Lane, at the end at the round about turn left ( car wash on corner) onto Chorley Road
The studio is on your left
