Our Pottery Painting Birthday Party activity in Preston, Lancashire gives the children the opportunity of an arty party. The finished piece can be in place of the traditional party bag once the piece has been Fired 4 U. The special birthday child receives a one off personalised plate at their pottery painting birthday party here in Preston, created with the help of their guests and Fired 4 U (9 see terms and conditions) To mark the occasion the Birthday painter puts their hand print on the party wall in the studio.
Ideal for children age 5 to 92!

    

New at Fired 4U from April 2010 you can now also do Copper enamelling as a party package, we suggest ideal for ages 8 and upwards.

 At the studio you will have; 
•A blank piece of pottery to paint choosing from your  Pottery Painting Party Package
•The paints, brushes and tools to create the art
•An hour and a half of painting time, depending on age and pottery choice
•The price includes the paint and glaze and firing of the pottery items
•Assistance from the Fired 4 U arty team to create the one off piece of art
•Invitations are provided for you to send out
•Aprons to keep the party clothes clean
•The Birthday Child puts their hand print on the party wall
•Free Birthday plate for the Birthday Child with 10 or more at the party
•Juice and biscuits for the party group and tea / coffee for mum and dad
•If family members want to paint items whilst the children paint, we won't charge you a studio fee you just for your pottery
•Just under a week later your party pottery will be ready to collect. Final items are wrapped up individually and labelled for you to hand out

The pottery painting party will last about 1and 1/2 hours after which we take the finished painted items away and leave you to serve the party tea. You are welcome to bring in food to suit your party or use the pizza takeaway facilities next door. We just politely ask you to take and waste from the party tea home with you as we have limited bin space.

We glaze and fire the finished pieces then you can collect them about a week later to give out to the children.

Why not book a themed party for your child and make the party even more unusual. Magical items, dinosaurs, pop stars, fairies or football just to name a few!

Party Plate
Is there 10 or more in your party? Then we will give you a complimentary birthday plate for the Birthday child. This will can have your childs hand print put on in the centre or we can paint a picture on it of their choice. The guests at the party then sign around the rim as a lasting memory.


Boys Pottery Painting Package
Choose from a Robot, Sports shirt pencil pot or a Dragon ( sleeping or hatching) or Gecko or Sammy the snake. This is £12 per person with a minimum of 6 painters


Birthday Pottery Painting Party Package 1
gives the party a choice of a mug, bowl, door plate, pen tidy or the cute collectable animals.
This is £10 per person minimum of 6 painters

Birthday Pottery Painting Package 2 - The Box Party
gives the party a choice of trinket boxes with the following lids; cat, dog, butterfly, ballerina, lady bird and horse. Further options with more of a 'boy' choice are coming out in march 2010- Pirate and Ghecko's. These can vary depending on supplies and we can always try to source a particular theme for you 
This is £12 per person, minimum of 6 painters

Birthday Pottery Painting Party Package 3 - The Jewellery Party
Make your own necklace with pendant blanks and hand made beads to choose from. Includes the fasteners and thong to thread the finished items together. The group will glaze their own items before finishing off for the tea you may provide. The final making of the necklace is done by the painter after firing.
This is £12 per painter, minimum of 6 painters

Birthday Pottery Painting Party Package 4 - The Paint a Pottery Plate
Paint a 21cm plate using a banding wheel or by hand and create your own design as decoration.
Plates can be used to eat off as normal after they ahve been glazed and Fired 4 U. It is possible to pop them in the dishwasher but be aware they may chip if they knock against other peices and can craze in time with going form hot to cold suddenly just like any other plate in your cupboard,
£12 per person, minimum of 6 painters

Birthday Pottery Painting Package 5 -  Arty Africa Party
Choose from 5 large mosaic patterned African pottery animals to get arty with and then add your own patterns too. Follow the lines on the animals to create fantastic looking creations

This package is £12 per person, with a minimum of 6 painters

Deposit

A deposit of £50 is required to confirm the booking and this is non-refundable 30 days before the party.
The final numbers are required minimum of 3 days before party. Final payment is required in full on the day of the party.

Party Tea
You are very welcome to bring in a party tea to eat after the pottery painting session for another half hour. We clear the painting tables and then the children can sit back down to the tea. You are welcome to use the cups they have whilst painting for drinks with the tea and we have a cake knife and lighter.
NOTE Please provide your own plates and take any food waste/ packaging waste home with you as we do not have a rubbish disposal facility here.

The Contented Sole - the Fish and Chip shop next to our new studio does Children's meals in a box. At £2.20 per person plus 10% off for any parties who book with us its a meal deal indeed.

Choose from Jumbo Sausage, Burger, Chicken nuggets, Fish fingers or Fish cake with chips and a choice of drink and a lolly pop.

Wed-sat 11.30-1.30pm and Evenings Wed -Fri 4.30 -8pm

Party Bags

Party bags can be ordered with Fired 4 U and are filled with sweets @ £3 each. These are supplied to us from a Candy Party business.
The consist of 4 large items ranging from;Sherbert fountains,Wham bars,Dip dabs,Fizz Wizz,Candy necklaces,Love Hearts and a selection of little sweets;Black Jacks,Fruit salads,Flying saucers,Jelly beans,Parma violets,Swizzels.

Please order at least week before the party and the number you order will be charged for.
