Get arty with a piece of clay and make your own item!

at Fired 4 U 
Make your own piece of art in Clay!

 We will provide a piece of clay;
We’ll give a short demo on how to mould it

You make it into an object of your choice;

Try a slab pot or a coil pot or a squeeze pot;
Or go for broke and make it abstract!
Use clay tools and a range of cutters to form decorative shapes to add to your piece.

 Then leave your creation with us to dry out for 2 weeks and we will fire it to bisque. Bisque is the term used to call the clay once it has been fired.(it will look white-ish similar to the items on our shelves) and is ready to be decorated.

You can return to Fired 4 U to paint your piece to finish it and leave it as usual to be glazed
 and Fired 4 U.

Cost of this including clay and
decorating session is £16.50 per person

Places must be booked in advance
with 50% deposit paid,

 remainder paid on the clay making day

Please note

1.this will be all done by hand as we don’t  have a potters wheel
2.If some pieces are made more solid than others they may take longer to dry out and therefore firing will be delayed. If this happens we will advise you.
